Bundu is located on the Klamath River in the heart of the Klamath National Forest in extreme northern California. The word bundu (pronounced "boon'-doo") is South African colonial slang which roughly translates to "bush" or "boondocks". Taking a walk or a hike in the southern African bush is often referred to as "bundu-bashing". Bundu is a small ranch and home where the Rhodesian Ridgebacks live with Laurey Behrmann and Terry Martin, along with two Kiger Mustangs, two llamas, and two cats.
Bundu offers AKC Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies for sale to qualified homes on an occasional basis. Breeding stock are health screened and parents chosen carefully with the hopes of creating healthy, sound, happy offspring that are fine examples of the breed standard as put forth by the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States. All puppies are reared in the home environment with TLC.
